I bought this starter to replace a dead one in my 1998 Chevy Suburban 2500 with the 7.4 liter (454). It came in two days, was in package that was shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard within an amazon.com box.

The starter included new nuts and washers, which was nice. It went in great and my Suburban started right up.

One thing to note was that the heat shield that was on the factory would not fit on this starter. The bolt configuration was slightly different. I don't care though, it's not terribly close to a major source of heat.
