I bought and installed this last week for my brother-in-law as a birthday gift. For a little background, I have been building and installing custom high-end car stereo systems for about 15 years. Not professionally, but for my own listening pleasure and competition. I usually go all out... custom fiberglass box, plexiglass, leather and suede, accent lighting, etc. Logic dictated, in this case, that going that extensive for the listening pleasure of a 16 year old in the back of an old Crown Vic just wasn't worth the effort.I started looking at prepackaged sub systems. I have installed a couple Basslinks for friends, a few bazookas as well. The sound, while many times impressive for their size, just wasn't right for the music he listened to. After finding this and remembering seeing one in Bust Buy a couple years ago for about $300, I figured a $100 wasn't a bad deal.
